Pre-Alumni Council Hosts Training Session

The Office of Alumni Affairs hosted a Pre-Alumni training session, Thursday, August 9, in the art gallery of Seby Jones. The training session introduced faculty and staff members to the programs while instructing each faculty/staff member on how to best engage their assigned pre-alumni regions.

President of the University, Dr. Dianne Boardley Suber, was also in attendance for the training session. “This is a good opportunity for all who are involved and with your help we can now reach an extended community of potential alumni network,” stated Suber. “There’s a certain energy students have when they know someone from their hometown, so thank you.”

The Pre-Alumni Association focuses on educating current students about the importance of being an engaged alumnus post college. To get involved with the Pre-Alumni Council, contact Sheryl Ximines at 919-516-4343.
