Sociology Program

The mission of the Sociology Program is to combine the scholarly pursuit of sociological knowledge and training in the methods of collecting social information with the practical application of that knowledge training to improve the social world. In order to meet the global demand of social researchers, the Department offers two concentrations under the Bachelor of Science Degree option in addition to a Bachelors of Arts. These three paths of study allow students to choose the best path for the career they would like to pursue.
