In order for SAU students to check out books with the library, and or use our interlibrary loan service, a student account must be created. Students may visit the library at the circulation desk or use the registration button below.Registration for SAU Students/Faculty/Staff
Cooperative Borrowing from CRC System
Faculty members, currently enrolled students, administration officials, and members of the CRC staff may borrow books from any CRC (Saint Augustine’s University, Shaw University, Meredith University, Peace University, and NCSU) institution library. CRC students must present a CRC Direct Loan Request Form at the Prezell R. Robinson Library Circulation Desk. CRC faculty and staff may obtain a borrower’s card at no charge. A photo ID and proof of current affiliation is required upon application. Familiarize yourself with the policies and restrictions of the library from which you borrow.
Please note that this is a program of privileges. At its discretion, a participating institution may suspend the privileges of its own faculty members or of the faculty members of another participating institution.

Fines
Late books accrue 25 cents per day. After $5.00 in fines has been reached, the patron’s account is suspended until payment. Fines are reported to Student Accounts and must be paid in the Cashier’s Office.
Lost or Damaged Books:
Lost or damaged materials should be reported as soon as possible to the Circulation desk staff (Authorized person). A library authorized committee will take the necessary steps for the lost and damaged materials.
