Falcons competed in Ethics Bowl
The Saint Augustine’s University Ethics Bowl team competed in the North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities (NCICU) 4th Annual Ethics Bowl competition this past weekend, February 6-7, 2015. The event was held at Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh.
Dr. Shirlkeymu L. Winston, associate professor of African American History in the Department of History, served as the team’s advisor. The team members were as follows:
Criminal justice majors:
Colliet Bramwell, a junior from Jamaica
Naya Patterson, a junior from Sicklerville, N.J.
English major:
Darnella Reeder, a senior from Greensboro, N.C.
Political science major:
Justin Miller, a junior from Chicago, Ill.
Business administration majors:
Reece Bradley, a junior from Fredericksburg, Va.
Howard Walker, a freshman from Philadelphia, Penn.
The NCICU Ethics Bowl is designed to provide an academic experience which increases awareness and discourse among students from NCICU colleges and universities and area business and community leaders about applying ethics in leadership, decision-making, interpersonal relationships and other issues in today’s society.
