While every day is a time to honor the women in our lives, Women’s History Month is an intentional time to reflect on and celebrate the contributions made by women of all walks in life. While change and especially improvements for the condition of women can seem slow, it is amazing how far we have come over the last century. Some of the women who have inspired me the most in my journey include my mom, Dorothy Creech, who is one of the most courageous women I know. Additionally, Marion Wright Edelman, Frida Kahlo, Tina Turner, and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg have all impacted and influenced how I have progressed in my life, my success, and in my self-love.
