The “Power of One” campaign represents a significant milestone for SAU as we embark on a collective journey toward student success and sustainability for our esteemed university. Our goal is simple yet powerful – we aim to rally five million individuals, each contributing just one dollar over the next two years. Together, through the strength of our unity, we can accomplish extraordinary feats.

At the core of this campaign lies our belief that SAU is, and always will be, “One University.” It is a call to action for all SAU stakeholders, from faculty and staff to alumni and friends, to believe in the boundless potential of our institution. Together, we can shape the future and ensure SAU’s preeminent position among schools of similar stature.

FALCONS TAKE FLIGHT

Generous donations from our alumni, the Episcopal Church, and various supporters have already made an impact, and we hope to continue to soar. In 2021, SAU received over $128,000 for Giving Tuesday from many notable alumni, the largest donation for our Giving Tuesday campaign to date. The sky is the limit for our Falcons, and your continued support is making a difference throughout the university as our students reach for new horizons.

US EDA Awards SAU $400K Grant

Saint Augustine’s University (SAU) was awarded $400,000 from the Economic Adjustment Program to study the feasibility of preserving the historic St. Agnes Hospital. The program receives funding from the Public Works and Economic Development Act...

National Park Service Awards SAU $500K Grant

Saint Augustine’s University (SAU) was awarded $500,000 from the Historically Black Colleges and Universities grant program, funded by the Historic Preservation Fund and administered by the National Park Service (NPS) Department of Interior to preserve the Historic Chapel.

National Park Service Awards SAU $499K Grant

SAU was awarded $499,379 from the HBCUs grant program, funded by the Historic Preservation Fund, and administered by the National Park Service (NPS), Department of Interior to preserve the historic SAU Hermitage Hall.

By the end of the Fiscal Year 2024-2025, SAU will:

> Enhance our infrastructure to better support our campus experience

> Strengthen and expand academic programs to grant students new, innovative opportunities to become Pioneers of Next

> Grow and retain our high-quality faculty and staff
