*The Sports Technology Laboratory includes a 1000 square foot laboratory equipped with 10 smart cycling trainers, 5 smart bikes, 3 smart rowers, 1 ski erg machine, heart rate monitors, 3 SIM motorsports rigs, 4 golf simulators, VR headsets, computer equipment, various analysis software, various SIM sports platforms, and high speed internet access. The lab, along with its skilled coaches, faculty, and sports science practitioners, are available to support a variety of research projects and contract services for our corporate and academic partners.

About the Center
The SAU Innovation Center (“the Center”) operates under the ACBSP-accredited School of Business, Management, & Technology at Saint Augustine’s University. The Center supports the University’s mission by:
- providing enhanced instructional, practical learning, and experience opportunities for students,
- creating new marketing opportunities for the school,
- developing relationships with the local, regional, and national business communities,
- delivering consultative, development, and support resources for new business ideas and initiatives that originate within the school and local business community,
- opening new revenue streams to support educational programs and initiatives,
- and pursuing separate public and private grants, as well as contract research, professional development, and consulting opportunities.
Want your idea considered?
New business ideas and opportunities may be presented to the Center by current and former students, faculty and staff members, local community members, and/or established businesses or corporations with specific business or project needs. If you have a new or existing business idea or project that you believe could benefit from a partnership with the Center, please complete the short form below.
Each opportunity presented will be reviewed by the Center’s Executive Committee for fit with Center goals, as well as the services that can be provided by the Center.
Note: The Center’s Executive Committee is comprised of SAU faculty members and local business community members with extensive business development and management experience, as well as a history of guiding companies from start up to exit.
Upon approval by the Executive Committee, written agreements shall be put in place for each initiative that establishes the services to be provided, business and project milestones, fees required, as well as revenue and ownership shares as appropriate. Services provided by the Center may be performed by students, student interns, faculty members, and/or contract entities as needed.
