Kiddie Kollege's End of the Year Theater Academy Production

Cheers and smiles filled the packed audience in the Seby Jones Auditorium as participants in the Kiddie Kollege presented its theater academy production. The production was a huge success. The children performed a played centered on self esteem and bullying. At the end of the program, each child was presented with a certificate.

Throughout the summer, Kiddie Kollege, which was a non-residential camp, served kids from the ages of 5 through 12. The program provided the campers with an opportunity to participate in a variety of activities that exposed them to all academic disciplines and developed leadership skills that would empower students for future academic success.

“The Kiddie Kollege staff was proud to be able to serve, teach, engage and enrich 33 bright young people for five weeks,” said Ann Brown, a staff manager for Kiddie Kollege. “I laughed and cried during the theatre academy production because I saw growth in all of them. We know that Kiddie Kollege is no longer an option but a must and I look forward to its growth.”

Some of the program instruction included hands-on science, mathematics, reading, writing, computer literacy, sign language as well as theatre, arts and crafts
