Saint Augustine’s University Board of Trustees Introduced the Interim President at Town Hall Meeting with Alumni

On March 19, 2019, the Saint Augustine’s University Board of Trustees introduced the interim President during a press conference and Town Hall Meeting with alumni. Dr. Gaddis Faulcon said he is “ready and has been prepared by Saint Augustine’s University and NC State University to accept this role.” He added, “I am ready for this window of opportunity.”
Dr. Faulcon shared that his vision for the University going forward is “student-centered.” He is focused on the mission of the University, acknowledging that the goal is to prepare students and give them the opportunity to reach their full potential.
He concluded that he plans to foster an environment of teamwork where all those committed to the University will function with “one heartbeat” in the tradition of Bear Bryant.
